After presenting on Criterion-Based Grading in STEM classrooms at the San Francisco State STEM Symposium, one of the attendees invited me to present at the Teach for the Bay Virtual Workshop Series for new and aspiring teachers. (A link to the official brochure) I am getting to use to presenting virtually and it has actually become a lot of fun following the chat sidebar and moving into breakout rooms to sandbox attendees own grading systems in an effort to make them reflect the teacher's values and school contexts. My presentation at this stage is now really familiar so I am beginning to notice ares where I would like to improve upon it for clarity and to make the case for Criterion-Based Grading more compelling. If I have another opportunity to present this material, I will certainly be revamping my presentation.
